How County Squad Tracker handles personal information.
Information visitors provide
The Report an error form stores the issue reported, any suggested correction and any supporting source. A reporter may optionally provide a name and email address. Those contact details are used only to review the report, verify the correction where necessary and reply where appropriate. You are not required to provide a name or email address.
Please do not submit private medical information, confidential information or other sensitive personal data through the form.
Why CST uses it
CST processes correction-report information for the legitimate interests of maintaining an accurate and reliable reference site, investigating corrections and responding to people who contact the site. CST does not use correction-report contact details for marketing or advertising.
Public football information
Professional-player information may include name, age/date of birth, nationality, squad and contract information, playing records, transfers and football availability. It is obtained from publicly accessible sources such as official club announcements, interviews, governing-body information and attributable reporting. Sources are retained where practical so claims can be checked.
Injury information is limited to publicly disclosed information relevant to football availability and is handled under the separate Injury Reporting Policy. Academy-only profiles are not published before a professional contract is recorded.

Storage, recipients and security
Correction reports are stored in the site's protected database and are available only through the administrator area. Hosting and technical service providers may process data on CST's behalf where this is necessary to operate and secure the website. CST does not sell personal information or provide correction-report contact details to advertisers.
How long information is kept
Correction-report information is kept only while it remains reasonably useful for reviewing the report, handling a correction and maintaining an appropriate audit trail. Optional reporter contact details can be removed earlier on request where there is no overriding reason to retain them.
Published professional-football records may be retained historically where they remain relevant to the reference purpose of the site.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to personal information, correction, deletion or restriction, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are not absolute and the response can depend on the type of information and why it is held.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the privacy contact below to make a request.
Cookies and automated decisions
The CST application does not set advertising cookies. Authentication and security cookies are used only for the protected administrator area. CST does not make decisions about visitors using solely automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects.
Complaints and questions
Please contact CST first if you have a privacy concern so it can be investigated. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
