League One clubs can ask the EFL to postpone a match if three or more players are called up for international duty at senior, Under-21, Under-20 or Under-19 level.

To count towards the three-player limit, a player must also have played regularly for their club. They qualify if they have started or come on before the 75th minute in at least half of the matches they were eligible for, or in four of the last five matches. They do not need to play a certain percentage of the minutes in a match – starting the game counts, as does coming on before the 75th minute. CST therefore records the minute a substitute enters the pitch so the test can be calculated accurately.

Players in preliminary squads, on stand-by or being monitored for a possible call-up are shown here as an early warning, but only a confirmed call-up can count towards a postponement. Players who are currently injured are also shown, but are highlighted separately because they are less likely to be available for international selection. Injuries and suspensions do not reduce the number of club matches used in the EFL calculation.
